These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of KittyRank — the KittyRank software (Free and self-hosted editions), the managed KittyRank Pro service, the CrawlyCat crawler, and the kittyrank.com website (together, the "Service"), operated by the KittyRank team ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. Plain language, no surprises.
KittyRank helps WordPress site owners find "striking-distance" keywords, diagnose why pages underperform, and apply on-page and technical SEO fixes. It reads search-performance data you already own (Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and optionally Google Analytics 4) and uses AI to draft title, meta, and content improvements. CrawlyCat is a companion crawler that audits your site for technical issues.
The Free edition is open-source software licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0. You may run, modify, and self-host it under that license. It runs entirely on your own machine or server; you supply your own API keys, and your data and credentials stay with you. The license text governs your rights to the code; these Terms govern your use of this website and any managed service.
Pro is an optional paid subscription that runs the pipeline for you and provides managed AI, so you don't need your own AI key.
Don't use the Service to: break any law; access data or sites you don't own or aren't authorized to manage; attempt to disrupt, abuse, or overload the Service or the third-party APIs it relies on; or generate spam or deceptive content. We may suspend access that threatens the Service or others.
KittyRank's use of data obtained through Google sign-in is described in our Privacy Policy, and complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Please read the Privacy Policy for details.
SEO outcomes depend on many factors outside our control — search-engine algorithms, competition, and your own content. KittyRank surfaces opportunities and drafts changes, but we do not guarantee any particular ranking, traffic, or revenue result. You decide which changes to apply.
The KittyRank name, logo, and this website's content are ours. The Free edition's source code is licensed under Apache 2.0 as described above. You retain all rights to your own website content and data.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any specific result.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim (or, for the Free edition, is nil).
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. The disclaimers and liability limits above survive termination.
We may update the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of KittyRank is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here limits any non-waivable rights you may have under your local consumer-protection law.
